YEAH! School has started for the Chambers! Everyone was ready to start a new school year. Even little Noelle gets to start preschool this year.

Meyer-Gygi Wedding 2008

The whole family was able to get together again in Iron River for the wedding of Julia Meyer and Fredric Gygi. This time, the weather was beautiful! We had a blast cruising around the lake, sweating in the sauna, and of course, enjoying yummy food, good company and a fully stocked bar! We tore down the old boat house and had a huge fire going. The wedding was beautiful on Lake Pleasant. Everyone pitched to decorate and/or help take care of the kids so the adults could help out and relax a bit. We spent one night playing pool and hanging out at The Brule River Tap. Our time together was wonderful and we are all anxiously waiting for April when we will all head to Walnut Creek for another family wedding!

Summer Fun 2007

We did it again! The second time in a year, we all were able to get together but this time, not in sunny CA--in cold, rainy, MI! Did that stop us? Nope, as we've said before, with yummy food, good company and a stocked bar, there can be no wrong. We just appreciated the hot sauna more than usual and we all have Yooper blood in us, so we jumped in Hagerman for a few seconds. Most of us even hopped on the jet ski too! Of course, Louren Sr. had a fire burning the entire time, which we huddled around. With Jan in charge of desserts and Riverside pizza and Grandma's home cooked meals, the good Lord can bring on a blizzard in July and we will still be happy!!

California Family Reunion 2006

Thanksgiving 2006 was a fantastic time. We all headed out west for a long weekend. Time passed slowly for months until the day came when we all piled into Bill and Maureen's home in Walnut Creek, CA. With yummy food, good company and a stocked bar, there can be no wrong. Some of us headed downtown San Fransisco and some of us headed to the wine country in Napa. We all went to Monterrey to see the aquarium, Pebble Beach and topped of the day of walking with Mexican food. It was a vacation none of us will forget.
